DOMESTIC CURRICULUM

Our school provides students with diversified paths for further education. It has a clear educational positioning and a well-defined cultivation approach. We plan through multiple channels such as the direction of the national college entrance examination, the direction of sports and arts, the international direction, and courses in less widely spoken languages, fully expanding the space for development.

INTERNATIONAL CURRICULUM

Our school offers three major curriculum systems: A-Level, AP, and HSC, facilitating students' admission to universities around the world. The A-Level covers more than 70 subjects. Students can choose 3 to 4 subjects, and there are staged assessments (AS/A2). The results are recognized by more than 160 countries and serve as an authoritative credential for top universities in the Commonwealth and Europe and the US. The AP courses include 38 subjects at the university level. The exam scores (ranging from 1 to 5) can be exchanged for credits at more than 3,600 universities globally, strengthening students' independent research and interdisciplinary abilities. The HSC is synchronized with the high school curriculum in New South Wales, Australia, and is taught entirely in English. Graduates will obtain an ATAR ranking in the Australian college entrance examination and can directly apply to overseas prestigious universities without taking the IELTS. All three curriculum systems adopt small-class teaching and personalized guidance, integrating global resources to cultivate future talents with both academic abilities and a global perspective.

The primary school integration curriculum of WAES breaks away from the traditional subject-based teaching model, adopting a conceptual and interdisciplinary approach. The essence of interdisciplinary learning lies in integrating knowledge to understand the real world, creating authentic learning contexts for students. It enables them to relate their inquiries to the known real world, thereby igniting their intrinsic motivation to learn. Students form their own questions and design their inquiry approaches, engaging in collaborative and exploratory learning to address these issues. This active participation and dynamic interaction foster critical thinking, knowledge construction, and understanding.
